I can finally share these images! My mother sent this Hogwarts dress to us around Evelyn’s second birthday and she requested a photoshoot in it. As a surprise, I learned how to make a Patronus and had it printed on a vivid metal wall hang as her Christmas present. I never brought it up again (but my dad never heard the end of how she never received a picture all year). This was a tough secret to keep!
I wanted to wait until fall to work out this photography session, but I didn’t know that our house on the Keweenaw would be THE perfect backdrop. Thank goodness it was too because between renovating the previous house, packing, and moving, we didn’t have any time to book out a mini Harry Potter session.
I want to create more magical, fantasy inspired art after this!
