We were graced with sun in the middle of a flooding storm on the day of Angel + Jeremy’s wedding! How did we get this lucky, I’m not sure. Before arriving at the location of the wedding, Charlie and I headed out to a few locations our couple wanted to visit for pictures, just to see if they were flooded. We had to maneuver our way out there just to avoid road closers. Good news - everything was clear and falling into place! Today was going to be an amazing day!
Angel + Jeremy hosted their ceremony and reception at Crystal Gardens in Southgate, and it was absolutely stunning! In between the ceremony and reception, we all snuck away to Elizabeth Park and downtown Wyandotte for pictures. The bridges at Elizabeth Park were the perfect backdrop for her dress, too.
At the reception, their room had doorways out onto the patio with beautiful covered tables, a white gazebo, and a Cinderella carriage that made for some dreamy pictures. We unfortunately did not have a sunset to sneak off to at this location, but I think the patio was a lovely alternative!
Angel + Jeremy, thank you so much for reaching out to Charlie + me to photograph your wonderful day! We loved following you all around and joking all day. We wish you both many more years of laughter!
Bride Tip for a seamless wedding day: Give EVERYONE the detailed timeline. The more you communicate exactly what you want for your day, the better everyone else will be on the same page and the smoother your day will be. If you have a website, include this on the website! Because let’s be real, you don’t want to be receiving texts and calls the day of on where everyone should be.
