Kaetlynn’s mom found me through a mutual Facebook group we are in, how cool?! She is located in the Traverse City area, but fell in love with some of my daughter’s pictures during the golden hour glow. Of course I said I was open to the commute, and we started planning!
At-Home Session
She was the sweetest and made most of the props for this session! We started outside because we wanted to catch those beautiful sun rays. Then we headed inside to take some galaxy inspired pictures, and Kaetlynn was so funny for these ones. The poor girl wanted absolutely nothing to do with the galaxy setup! She wouldn’t stay away from it and ‘helped’ me put it up but as soon as it was time to get her pose on, she was like ‘nope!’ We made many bribes before we finally got her to calm down.
Milk Bath Add-on
The milk bath was a fun challenge! We both thought about how cool it would be to have a galaxy-looking style bath. I couldn’t find anything on anyone doing it previously so I had to do it all by trial + error. I also wanted it all to be taste-safe, so I picked up some frosting spray and edible glitter to really make it shine. It almost worked, but once Kaetlynn was put in the tub all the milk mixed up and just turned the bath blue.
This was such a fun session to plan out and Kaetlynn was so easy going, she loved being the ‘star’ of the show!
