Nazareth Hall, Grand Rapids, Ohio Photographer | Emily + Devon

When I received a message from Emily and Devon asking if I would photograph their wedding, I was BLOWN AWAY! I never expected to be a part of such a special day for anyone. Not only that, but I know these two from high school and I’ve been able to watch their love blossom over the years to something so great and powerful. I was absolutely honored to capture the magic of their day.

Emily and Devon were married at Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids, Ohio (which is near the Toledo area), and OH WOW. I can’t even begin to describe the beauty of that venue. We arrived a day early to scout the hall and the staff was absolutely wonderful to work with. They walked us around to show us where everything was and informed us that we were there at a perfect time, the hall was empty! So, they allowed us to roam and plan for the big day.

Their ceremony was held in the Grotto outdoors, and the sun peaking through the trees made the ceremony sooooo dreamy. Their reception was held in the Ladyglen Ballroom and they ended the night with a sparkler send-off! They held the most wonderful night and I was so surprised to see how many guests stayed to party on the dance floor.

Emily and Devon, thank you again so much for allowing me to spend this wonderful day with you! I love seeing all of your adventures together and I look forward to many more to come!

Bride Tip for a seamless wedding day: Give EVERYONE the detailed timeline. The more you communicate exactly what you want for your day, the better everyone else will be on the same page and the smoother your day will be. If you have a website, include this on the website! Because let’s be real, you don’t want to be receiving texts and calls the day of on where everyone should be.
