Alex & Friends | Woodhaven Homecoming 2019 | Class of 2020

How does this happen? How have I been able to witness my brother go from this cute little kid, to a young adult? I’m sure he could say the same about me, but he’s my younger brother! He’s supposed to stay small forever! I mean we still have sleep overs, but they are at my house and not in my bunk beds, and they consist of games and shenanigans and not playing with our toys. This boy use to follow in my footsteps and now he has his own dreams. But, I do get to witness him turn into an amazing uncle.

This year, he went with a couple of friends to his homecoming and drove our father’s historic ‘91 Mustang to pictures. This was the car I learned how to drive a manual in, and the car that I took my first dance pictures in front of. It’s the car Alex and I both have many memories of cruising with our dad in. I can only imagine the memories my dad has with it, and now with us.

I hope you had a special homecoming bro!
