Michigan Sunflower Fields: Munsell Farms

Are you looking to add sunflower fields to your summer bucket list? This field in Michigan is dedicated to spreading joy through their flowers. There is no entry fee, but there is a donation box and the farm kindly asks that you pay it forward to help them maintain the beauty they share. They also recently added a U-pick station for those wanting to bring some summer sunshine into their homes! And as all places, please be sure to be respectful of the flowers and fields by sticking to the trails.

Have you been to Munsell Farms? I’d love to know in the comments!

The farms began in 1905 as a diverse operation. Not only do they have acres of sunflowers, but they also sell crops, they raise cattle and pigs, and have an array of greenhouses.

Their Facebook page just demonstrates how important community is to this farm!

I hosted a few sunflower mini sessions while we were visiting the farm, but we also took time to take my graduation photos! I graduated in April of 2020, so we didn’t get to visit many places for graduation pictures. Even though these are a year late, I’m so thankful for them! Here’s your friendly reminder to sign up for those sessions even if they are for no reason! Capture those memories for years to come.

The fields were breathtaking and I’ll be adding some pictures of the flowers to my Etsy Print Store!

Share this with someone you want to take to the fields!
