The Complete List of Pumpkin Patches in Michigan

Whether you are looking for a spot to take your basic fall girl pictures, a family fun u-pick experience, or just a simple spot to get your fall essentials, I’ve made a complete list of pumpkin spots from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, all the way down to the Ohio border. Head out and discover some old-fashioned family fun farms, taste local produce (it’s better for you and supports your community!), fresh baked goods, and maybe some educational experiences or live music events. These farms know how to make family memories and Michigan is the best place to be for fall. So, why not support some local farms and bring back the nostalgia of fall by visiting these pumpkin patches.

Alto

Deep Roots Produce // 8570 84th St. SE, Alto, MI 49302

This family owned and operated farm established in 2019 has fresh produce (both u-pick and prepicked), a petting zoo, sunflower maze, 11 acre corn maze, u-pick pumpkin field, hayrides and so much more! This 55 acre farm has something for everyone throughout the year. Open from mid-June through October 31st, then reopens after Thanksgiving through Christmas.

Ann Arbor

Slow Farm // 4700 Whitmore Lake Rd, Ann Arbor, MI

The Slow Farm is big on biodiversity, so you can find over 100 different types of fruits and vegetables at their farm stand. But, they also offer u-pick crops (such as pumpkins). They do warn since they support biodiversity, be mindful of the weeds that support the butterflies and bees by bringing your own containers, wearing sturdy shoes, wearing protective clothing, hats/sunglasses, bring water, and wear sunscreen.

Wells Pumpkin Farm // 3801 S Wagner Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103 

This farm stand is the perfect spot to stop and grab pumpkins, gourds, and other farm raised fall decorations. This is a super quick stop to stock up and move on to the next fall activity. It is cash or check only.

Wing Farms // 5335 Dexter Ann Arbor Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103

This is a working farm where you can stop in for your pumpkins at the pumpkin patch (with free hayrides on Saturdays and Sundays), grab local farm raised beef, all natural turkeys, or even your Christmas tree!

Armada

Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill // 17985 Armada Center Rd, Armada, MI 48005

You can find almost anything to do at this family owned and operated cider mill located on a 120-acre farm. There is seasonal u-pick fruits and vegetables, a Funland area for kids, Blake’s Tasting Room and Restaurant, and Lovey’s Lavender Market. There is also a corn maze, farm market, festivals, hard cider tasting, beer tasting, a bakery, petting farm, picnic areas, school tours, wagon rides and wine tasting.

Millers Farm // 71800 Romeo Plank Rd, Armada, MI 48005

In the months of August-September (until they are droopy or gone), you can find U-pick sunflowers at this farm. Throughout the season they have lots of fall decorations from mums, to pumpkins, corn stalks, straw bales, pie pumpkins, hand painted pumpkins, scarecrows, and so much more. You can even find fresh cider and donuts from the Donut Girls LLC, plus some other fresh seasonal homemade goodies.

Van Houtte Farms // 69475 Romeo Plank Rd, Armada, MI 48005

This farm supplies the widest selection fresh produce and u-pick flowers throughout the season. In the fall, you can find pumpkins, straw bales, corn stalks, donuts, cider, caramel apples, and they can make special engraved pumpkins starting at $70 for a kid’s pumpkin (30lbs). Although this farm isn’t u-pick pumpkins, they are known for their massive carving pumpkins and they are worth the stop!

Beaverton

Maxwell’s Pumpkin Farm // 4676 M-18, Beaverton, MI 48612

This pumpkin farm is open annually throughout the month of October only, but you can find pumpkins, cider, donuts, mums, mini straw bales, and other fall decorations.

The Wild Pumpkin // 5799 Beaverton Rd, Beaverton, MI 48612 

This farm has a $7.00 per person admission fee (kids one and under free), but that includes access to the petting farm, wagon rides around the farm, corn maze, playground, corn box, hay/straw maze, pumpkin picking out in the field (pumpkins are priced per pound), mums and wildflower fields. Pumpkin Season starts mid September through October.

Belding

Paulson’s Pumpkin Patch Inc // 11164 Belding Rd, Belding, MI 48809

This is a family run farmers market with fresh fruits and veggies runs throughout the growing seasons. In the fall season, you can find free hay rides to the pumpkin patch.

Belleville

DeBuck’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch // 50240 Martz Rd, Belleville, MI 48111

Throughout the fall season DeBuck’s Corn Maze becomes an amazing family day trip! There’s a corn maze, pumpkin patch, hay rides to the patch, a country kitchen, and a HUGE family fun area! We had so much fun with our daughter in the family fun area while we were there. You can also find u-pick sunflowers and lavender during the summer months, along with painting days!

Berrien Center

Earth First Farms // 8335 Smith Rd, Berrien Center, MI 49102

The annual Harvest Party at Earth First Farms is a community favorite. You can find it typically at the last weekend in September with live music, delicious food, hayrides out to the orchard, cider, and other activities. Founded on organic principles and sustainability, you are sure to find healthy local foods at this farm. While I’m not seeing u-pick pumpkins on their website, you can find tons of fresh local produce and pantry staples.

Bloomfield Hills

Bower’s School Farm // 1219 E Square lake Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304

Bower’s is a 93 acre farm owned by Bloomfield Hills schools. You can find animals, acres of vegetables, community gardens, and curated horticultural gardens. In the fall, you can find festivals such as the Bourbon & Brews for 21+ only or the Fall Festival for the whole family. You can find farm activities, food, live music, entertainment, pumpkins, bounce houses, games, crafts, straw tower, and so much more!

Buckley

Pahl’s Country Store // 11168 M-37, Buckley, MI 49620

From mid-September to the end of October, 7 days a week, Pahl’s has a u-pick pumpkin patch, hay rides, homemade cider, donuts, and other delicious treats in the country store, as well as squash, gourds, straw, and corn stalk. There is also an apple cannon and pony carousel rides!

Casco

CornFun Corn Maze Adventure and Pumpkin Patch // 9391 Lindsey Ln, Casco, MI 48064 

This family farm has a corn maze (both day-time AND night-time flashlight challenges), u-pick pumpkin patch, sunflower festival, and other activities throughout the farm.

Cement City

Meckley’s Flavor Fruit Farm //  11025 S Jackson Rd, Cement City, MI 49233

Although there is no u-pick pumpkins here, there’s a super cute Pumpkin House for photo opportunities! You can explore the farm, bakery, cidery, and cellars, find fall festivals & food trucks every weekend in September and October (check the calendar for their list of events!). After the fall season is over, come back in November for Small Business Saturday and again in December for their Stocking Stuffer Market.

Chesaning

Tomac Pumpkin Patch // 19758 Corunna Rd, Chesaning, MI 48616 

You can find a wide selection of items available year-round at this farm, from syrups, soaps, jams, books, kitchen accessories, to other goodies. Opening day for fall is typically mid-September. On the weekends in October, you can find food trucks, activities, pumpkin painting, farm demonstrations, hay rights, barn quilt painting, and so much more!

Coloma

Jollay Orchards // 1850 Friday Rd, Coloma, MI 49038

Jolly Orchards has a huge list of fall attractions! From the corn maze, fishing pond, hay rides, animal farm, u-pick, western town, playground, haunted house, and Mother Nature’s AgVenture area, you’re sure to find something for the whole family.

Commerce

Long Family Orchard and Cider Mill // 1540 E Commerce Rd, Commerce Charter Twp, MI 48382 

You can find apples, pumpkins, the cider mill, and corn maze on Commerce Rd. west of Bogie Lake Rd at this family orchard. For other produce and the farm stand, head to Bogie Lake Rd. north of Commerce rd. In the fall, you can also find the goat farm, 2 giant jumping pillows, ball zone, straw tunnels, corn bounce, spider web, tube swing, giant slide, pedal kart track, apple and pumpkin cannons, little/big sand box, play structures, picnic area, and so much more!

Conklin

Rasch Cherry & Apple Market // 17647 40th Ave, Conklin, MI 49403

From September through October, you can find u-pick apples, sunflower maze, corn maze, u-pick flowers, pumpkin patch, pies, turnover, donuts, locally grown vegetables, honey, syrup, and so much more at their barn market. In October, you can find special haunted sunflower maze events!

Dexter

Enjoy a u-pick pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkin, head to the Blast Corn Maze for 3.5 miles of fun, ride the hayrides, shoot a corn cannon, find some delicious treats, or just come to hang out and see all there is to do at this family fun farm.

Dowagiac

This family owned farm sells fresh fall produce, pumpkins from the field, mums, and other fall decorations. you can find unique varieties of pumpkins here, such as white, blue, cheese, Cinderella, warted, giant stemmed, red/white, and pie pumpkins all the way to giant prizewinner pumpkins.

Dundee

During the month of October, you can find pumpkins, squash, and gourds.

Durand

Stiles Pumpkin Farm // 7955 S Durand Rd, Durand, MI 48429 


According to google, this farm is permanently closed. That is NOT true! They are, however, a self-serve roadside stand specializing in fall decorations. You can find bales of straw, pumpkins, gourds, squash, corn shocks, and mums. There is also a u-cut flower and sunflower patch. They will open the u-pick pumpkin patch soon for fall.

Ellsworth

Royal Farms // 10445 US-31, Ellsworth, MI 49729

There’s a farm market, tasting room, bakery, gift shop, 5 acre scavenger hunt corn maze, and hayrides. If you find all 6 stations in the corn maze in 30 minutes or less, you win a prize!

Fenton

Spicer has it all! From berry picking, apple picking, sunflowers, corn maze, playgrounds, festivals, 5k runs, Spookley, Santa, wine tasting, farmers market with everything from baked goods to ice cream, and so much more, this farm is definitely a popular one in the Metro Detroit area and is a family favorite of ours!

Flint

Apple Lane Orchard Pumpkin Christmas Tree Farm // 4460 Center Rd, Flint, MI 48506

This farm features seasonal fresh produce, Amish baked goods, flowers and hanging baskets during spring and summer, donuts, cider, and pumpkins in the fall, and Christmas trees, grave blankets, wreaths, porch pots, and kissing balls during the winter.

Flushing

Fremont

Gaylord

Gobles

Grand Blanc

You can roam around the property and take as many pictures as you would like on this farm. Field picking is based on mother nature, so be sure to call ahead. You can always find pumpkins set in rows with their prices and animals for viewing.

Grand Haven

You can find your pumpkins in the pumpkin patch, hay rides, and the corn maze at this farm. Pumpkins are 55 cents a pound, corn maze is $5 and hayrides are $5. *pets are welcome on a leash, but not on the hayrides*

Grand Rapids

Highland

Bonadeo, the owner and landscape guru, offers a corn maze and hayrides during the day. The corn maze ends in 8 different locations and those who make it to all 8 are entered into a drawing for free cider, donuts, a pumpkin, and picture on the wall. You can also find a bounce house, toys for the kids, a pumpkin patch, and photo opportunities.

Houghton

Stowaway Farms // 46569 Paradise Rd, Houghton, MI

Houghton’s first pumpkin patch is now open! At this point, they have multiple events planned with activities including face painting, games, a play area, photo opportunities, food, and a haunted forest walk. In future years, they hope to add sunflower fields and a corn maze.

Hudsonville

I grew up going to Kackleberry farm and enjoyed watching it grow. We met the owners Chris & Dea Schell during our trips to the Schell Family Farm shortly after their opening. This amazing family is transforming their 250-acre property into an agricultural tourism and entertainment destination. Plymouth

You can find u-pick apples and pumpkins, goodies in the country store, the cider mill, special events (like their run scream run, which I have personally participated in!), an animal petting farm, corn maze, mega triple slide, old west wagon rides, haunted chills & thrills hours, and so much more.
