Intimate Family Session at the Summer Cottage Bete Grise, MI | Northern Michigan Photographer
The Pedersen family was visiting from Illinois and was looking for a photographer to capture some memories at one of their favorite locations while they were here. What started as a sweet family session, ended with their daughter, Quinn, wanting to show me all her favorite rooms and toys at their family cottage! It was the stinkin’ cutest thing! She told me how much she loved playing with me and I said “I’m so happy to hear that, because that means I’m doing a great job.”
In order to get to their family cottage, they had to come across the channel and pick me up in a boat! Ha! I was so amazed. Then we took a cozy little blueberry filled trail to the softest, sandiest beach on the Keweenaw Peninsula. I felt like I was photographing a family for a movie, the setting was just stunning. Along the trail back to the cabin, I pointed out the blueberry bushes. Evidently they are Quinn’s favorite berry and we may have eaten quite a bit and did a few happy dances - check the gallery for the cutest happy dance!
